Hello World...

We are expecting and couldn't be more excited! I am just over 16 weeks pregnant and due on December 5. So exciting!
Everything is going along really well. I felt great until I hit 9 weeks. 9 to 15 weeks were tough but I am feeling much better now. I went to my doctor the day before I turned 9 weeks and told him that I hadn't had any morning sickness. He told me that since I hadn't gotten it yet he was sure I wouldn't get it now. Ya right! The next day it come on and lasted for a few weeks. Thanks Doc! But everything looks great so it is all worth it. Well at least that is what I keep telling myself.
It has been so much fun telling everyone and seeing everyone's response. We told my family first when we went home for Derek's wedding. My family is very excited! We gave my mom a picture frame with the ultrasound picture in it for Mother's Day. I was filming and she opened it, looked at me and said "is this your baby?". I lost it and started bawling so the camera was nice and shaky. My sisters had a bet that I was pregnant. Ash said she could tell. So in the background of the video you can here them saying "I knew it!!." My dad, brothers and sister in laws were also excited. Michael was nervous because he didn't know why we were all crying.
We went to Denver next to tell Jarod's family. They were surprised. I don't think that they were expecting that.
Then we told Elish and Rob over the phone. I knew Elish knew something was up because I was dodging her phone calls so they were not that surprised but very excited! We also called and told Jeff that he was going to be an uncle for the fourth time (his sister has three kids). He couldn't believe that his sister called us instead of him and then he put it together. It was hilarious!!
I went back to Boise a few weeks later for Boden's birth and told the rest of the family. I love to see everyone's reactions. My grandma was the most excited. She has been bothering me to have a baby for years.
We then started calling the rest of Jarod's family or telling them when we saw them. Jarod's aunt Dee who I am very close with was a highlight. Jarod called her to tell her and she started crying because she was so excited! She got it under control and they talked for a while and then I got on the phone and she started again. The best part about it was she was on her way to work in LA and said that everyone was staring at her as she was driving and crying and had to reapply her makeup.
It has been so much fun telling everyone and we saved the big post for last!

Boden Jay Domeny

Ty and Kimber have a new little guy! Boden Jay Domeny was born on May 29 after only an hour and a half in labor from start to finish. Kimber was made to have babies! It was crazy. She was dilated to an 8 so we thought we would have time to go to the rest room and by the time we got back she was ready to push. Three pushes later, Boden was here! He was 7 lb. 6 oz. He is such a beautiful baby with a ton of hair. He looks a lot like his big brother. I was so glad that I was able to be there for this one.Grandma and Boden

Aunt Dess as Michael calls me and Baby Boden Michael meeting his new baby brother for the first time. He was really not interested at all. I still don't think he is interested but he calls him Bo and thinks that every baby is Bo now.

Sweet little guy after being cleaned up a little bit.

I think every picture I have of him he is sleeping but according to Ty and Kimber that is because he is up all night. Check out that hair!

1 day old, still in the hospital

His second day home. I love this cute picture of him. He is such a sweetie!!

Mom and Baby are both doing well and Michael is adjusting to having a new baby brother. I can't wait to see him again in a few weeks. I am sure he will have changed so much. Ugh, one of the hard parts about living so far away.

Staying home...

Wow! What a whirlwind the last few weeks have been. Jarod and I have both been busy traveling like crazy people and racking up those frequent flyer miles. Last weekend we headed to Denver to see Collin in the musical Anne. He was Daddy Warbucks. He did a great job and we were really glad we were able to go and see it. So after traveling every week for the last 6 weeks, we are FINALLY staying home this weekend. What are we going to do with a few days of freedom? Yeah, right. Tomorrow we are going to our third Cubs game of the week and then we have a packed weekend. I don't know what we would do with ourselves if we weren't as busy as we are. At least I get to sleep in my own bed this weekend!!

Derek and Vera's Wedding

Jarod and I flew home for Derek's wedding. The day before the wedding it was a freezing 45. We thought we were in trouble but the day of the wedding was beautiful and in the 70's. We couldn't have asked for a better day. OK, maybe I could have. I had the flu ALL day. I was miserable. Hence why I look absolutely pale in these pictures.
My Grandma and me.

Vera, the beautiful bride

Derek and Vera got married at Ty's house in Horseshoe Bend. It was so green with great views of the mountains.

Derek, Vera and their dogs Sarge and Cadet

The cutest little guy! He looked so cute in his little suit. He was so funny walking down the aisle. The kid is a ham. He was a little unsure to begin with but as soon as he saw all of us at the end he started to run as fast as possible down the hill. He of course crashed, stood up, laughed and started running again.

Lacy and the cake that Ash made. She did such a good job!!
We always love to go home and it was for such a great event. We are so happy for you Derek and Vera. We love you both!

Huston Visit

Madeline and Deb Huston came out for Madeline's 10th Birthday. I can't believe she is 10 it seems like just yesterday I starting nannying for them and she was 2 1/2. We missed Kennedy and Julia. They stayed home with their dad but it was so much fun to see them and catch up. We had a great time!

Sunny San Diego

In March, for Jarod's spring break we went back to San Diego for some fun in the sun with Elish and Rob. We had the best time! We also went and saw Jarod's cousin Amy as well as Jeffrey, Nicole and Huskey. It was great to see everyone but it was so hard to leave. Here are some pics of our trip.
