Denver in the summer

Instead of heading home after Boise, Jacoby and I jumped on a plane and met Daddy in Denver for the weekend. Jacoby had a great time playing in his massive toy room and even did pretty good playing the drums. The offered to send them home with us but we were positive that we didn't want them in our house. They were a little loud. Jacoby loves playing with Bentley and telling him to sit. The poor dog is constantly being told to sit.
We also enjoyed the weather and headed downtown to a really cool park on the river. We played in the water and I even got a little adrenalin rush body surfing the rapids on the river. Probably wasn't the safest thing to do and I couldn't have talked my smart husband to join me but Collin and I had a blast even though I was black and blue the next day.
Jacoby went swimming with Grandma and Grandpa J while Jarod and I went out for an amazing dinner. It was such a treat! We also played for hours at the park behind their house in the sand box it was a huge hit.
Jacoby and I were gone for 11 days but we had the best time and our fun was just beginning!

Fun Times in Boise

As much as I enjoyed Horseshoe Bend when my parents lived there I was really excited that they moved back to town. It was like I hadn't been to Boise in years! Jacoby and I stayed an extra 5 days after Daddy flew back to Chicago to work. We enjoyed having some quiet time with my mom and dad. We also enjoyed this little cutie! Jacoby is in love with Emma and he even wanted to share his BBQ chips with her.

I am pretty sure she could not be any cuter!! I can't wait to get my hands on her again and hear her little laugh. I was the first one to get that little laugh out of her. I think she likes me!

Family Camp 2010

Every year when I was younger we would go to Family Camp in Ponderosa in McCall. I looked forward to it every year but it seemed as we got older it was harder and harder to get everyone there so we stopped doing it. But this year we decided that we wanted to continue that tradition with our little ones so family camp is back on every year!
We had the best time playing in the water, playing sand volleyball, riding bikes and eating good food. This year we were also lucky enough to get a private tour of the blackhawk and apache helicopters thanks to Brian. It was very cool and Jarod was way in to it. Jacoby slept in a tent for the first time and loved it. I joked the entire time that I was going to come home and set up a tent because he slept through every night we were there, something he doesn't do at home. I think that his cousins just wore him out with all the singing and dancing at the amphitheatre, fighting with Boden over the dinosaurs and sliding down the rock slide. He was happy as a clam and I loved showing his around to all my old spots.
Looking forward to next year already!
