Family Pictures and a few random ones

The Millers
The Bishops
The Gills

The Domenys The whole Gill gang. I told everyone after we took this picture that no one else was allowed to get married or have kids because we wouldn't fit in the screen. I can't believe how fast our family has grown in the last couple of years.
Getting ready to go play football.
Like Uncle, like nephew!

Thanksgiving Bowl

The last couple years we have had a Bowling Tournament. This year we had the whole Gill gang out for the festivities and rented out the entire bowling alley. I just happened to bowl my greatest game ever this year with 5 STRIKES IN A ROW!! Even I was speechless. I have never got two in a row let alone 5!!
Michael had a great time this year. He loves his Grandpa!
The Dominator girls!
We all have bowling nicknames...
Ash and Brandon. Aren't they a cute couple.
Michael even got to bowl and with the help of the bumpers, he got his first strike. He was so funny and wanted everyone to clap for him every time.
King Pin and Spare me. AKA Dad and Mom

Royal (our competition), Vera and Derek
Grandma just knitted the entire time. She is so funny!

What a cute little family and one more on the way!

The Dominators... and boy did we dominate again this year!

Pilgrams vs. Indians

On Thanksgiving morning, we headed down to Horseshoe Bend High School for a mean game of football. Jarod took this game very seriously. He thought the eye black made him look intimidating. I think it would have been more intimidating if it wouldn't have been my mascara.
So we played a great game and had a fun time but realized at the end of it we didn't take any pictures. These are a few of our attempts to capture action shots of what happened during the game. Here is us lining up. The timer was taking forever and Derek was cracking me up but I think minus the pads and 350 lbs we look very similar to O Lineman.

She could go all the way.... except that my husband takes every opportunity to tackle me.

My job was to protect the end zone... as you can see I didn't do a very good job.

See I told you the eye black didn't help!

Dog Pile in the end zone. Jarod is on the bottom (poor guy), me (barely able to breathe), I can't tell if Lacy is on top of Vera or if Vera is on top of Lacy. Then we have Lacy's poor friend Derek. I don't think he will ever come back. That is what we have to do with all those boys chasing her. Derek Domeny is of course on top of the pile.

BIG Family News!

It has been an exciting few weeks for the Domeny clan! Tyler and Kimber are expecting another BABY! I am so excited that I am going to be an aunt again. She is due on June 6, my mom's birthday. We have known for a while but I realized that I had not announced to anyone yet.
The other big news is that Derek got ENGAGED on Sunday!! He proposed to Vera at Tamarack in McCall. They are planning on getting married this summer. We are very excited!

The Big House

Round 2 of college football for us. This last weekend we made the trek to Ann Arbor with 109,000 of our closest friends to the Big House to watch Michigan take on Minnesota. We had a great time but it was freezing as you can see from our many layers. The crowd was very entertaining and did things we had never seen before. I think Jarod and I spent most of our time watching the student section instead of the game. By the way, someone from Borah went to a Michigan game back in the day and came back with Borah's fight song, chants and cheers.

Mesmirized by candy

I had to share this picture of my nephew! He was a monkey which is absolutley fitting. Kimber was trying to send me pictures on my cell phone on Halloween night but they were not coming through. She finally sent a text message and said "just imagine Ty in a giant monkey suit but cuter". So true but I agree this little guy is much cuter than the image of Ty in a monkey suit that I had.

Illinois vs. Michigan

Jarod and I made the trip down to Illinois for the Michigan game. At first we said that we were like Switzerland and didn't choose sides but soon we found ourselves cheering for Michigan. Who can cheer against the team that Tom Brady played for? It was a great game and Michigan walked away with a win. We are on our way to Ann Arbor next week for Michigan vs. Minnesota at the Big House. Can't wait!

Mom and Dad Visit

My mom and dad came out for a visit last week for my dad's and Jarod's birthdays. Would you believe that we didn't take one picture! What is this world coming to? We had the best time though. We went and saw the musical Wicked. I would highly suggest seeing it if you get the chance. It is great! We have seen it 4 times and I have loved it every time.
We went to the Chicago History Museum. Wrigley even had a display in the museum. It was really interesting. I learned that Lincoln Park, the neighborhood that I live in, was vital in the start of the Hippie movement. Who knew?
We did plenty of shopping and I am sure bored my parents to death with all the narrated walks and drives through Chicago. What can we say we love this city!

Baseball Trip

For Rob's 30th Birthday we surprised him with a trip to Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park and Wrigley Field. The best part about it is he had no idea!! When he landed in Chicago on his lay over to New York, Jarod and I were there to surprise him. When we got to New York, Jesse and Nicole had flown in from Palm Springs and were there to greet us. We had the best time!
