Happy First Father's Day Daddy!!

For Father's Day, I made this cute box for Jarod with pictures of Jacoby and him that wrapped all around it for his office. It actually turned out really cute!

Jacoby was excited to celebrate Father's Day with his daddy! We celebrated by going to the zoo and making dinner for Daddy.

Jacoby is one lucky little boy to have Jarod for a Daddy! They love each other so much and I love watching them interact! I love you Jar- thanks for being such a wonderful Daddy to our little guy! Happy Father's Day!

Maggie's Wedding

We were so excited to take Jacoby to Omaha for Maggie's wedding! We couldn't wait to introduce him to his Great Grandma Leinen

I was a little nervous how Jacoby would do being out so late but my little guy is a party animal! He loved being out on the dance floor. He laughed and laughed! He was great entertainment!

A Day at the Lake in Omaha

Since the wedding was on Friday, we went to Matt's Lake house on Saturday and had such a great time! Jacoby loved the water even though it was a little chilly.

He loved the sand even more and liked to touch it. We tried to keep his fingers out of his mouth but as you can see he is pretty quick! He is so stinkin cute I can hardly stand it!!

The 3 babies! Trey- 4 months, Dylan- 10 months and Jacoby- 6 months. Taking this picture was hysterical. Dylan was trying to decide if Trey or Jacoby tasted better and was attacking their ears. It was too cute!!

The Grandparents.- Jacoby and Grandpa J, Jim's sister Betty and Dylan and Jim's other sister Pat and Trey. Now Rita just needs one and we will be set :)

The Mommies- Michelle and Dylan (she also has Luke and Neil), Kara and Trey (she also has a set of twins- Mia and Ava) and Jacoby and me. Last time we saw each other Michelle was in her third trimester, me in my second and Kara in her first.

3 Generations of Jostes' boys!! We had such a great time and I even got to play sand volleyball while Daddy took care of Jacoby. It was a great day!!

Swing, swing, swing

We took Jacoby to the park a few weeks ago for his first time in the baby swing. He loved it!! He was so excited to be swinging and was smiling and laughing the entire time. Now we go a few times a day since it is his favorite thing to do.

6 Months

Jacoby turned 6 months old three weeks ago and I am just getting these pictures posted now. Oh well, better late than never!!

He is getting so big and I think he is starting to look more like an older baby than a newborn. He is such a blast and I am LOVING this age!! Jacoby weighed 14 lb. 15 oz. at his 6 month check up (25%) and was 26 inches long (75%)!

Here are a few things about our sweet baby boy.

1. Really likes his rice cereal and gets excited when he sees the box

2. Loves sucking on his toes

3. Has started taking longer naps- FINALLY!! He has attached himself to sleeping with a blankie and he cuddles with it when mommy is not there

4. Has been sitting up by himself for a few weeks now but is very stable loves to sit and play with his blocks

5. Makes lots of consonants sounds. I'm working on Momma and Daddy is working on Dadda.

6. Twirls my hair when he is eating or is tired with his entire arm and when he gets a handful he stops eating to suck on my hair. My hair is constantly wet.

7. Is a very happy, easy baby!!!

We love him so much!!

Cute Cousins!!

Every time I am home we put ourselves through the torture of trying to get a picture of all 3 of the boys. It is always entertaining and you can work up a good sweat trying to get all of their attention. Jacoby just loves to be near Boden so he was pretty easy this time and he is not mobile yet. Next time we are really going to be in trouble!

My mom bought these cute matching shorts for all three of the boys. They were so cute and so stylish!

Boden loves the camera and will give you a smile whenever you pull it out!

Michael on the other hand takes some persuading or bribing whatever you want to call it.

Boden's First Birthday!!

I cannot believe it has been a year since Boden was born! It seems like it was just yesterday that this sweet little boy was born.

I was so excited to be home to help celebrate Boden's first Birthday. I was home for Michael's so it was really important for me to be home for Boden's.

We gave him this cute little car that Michael thinks is a Herbie. The kid is obsessed with Herbie!! It was a huge hit with both of them but I think Michael thought it was his.

Ash made Boden this cute cake and he was not too sure what he thought about it at first but it didn't take long for him to figure it out!

My Mom's Surprise Birthday Party

For my mom's 50th Birthday, we had a surprise Birthday party for her while I was home. I am so surprised that we were able to pull it off! My mom had no idea even though we had way too many close calls and my mom was not being the easiest person to get out of the house. It all worked out though and we had a great time!

We were all waiting outside when my mom and dad pulled up in the drive way. We had got her out of the house by taking the boys to the park and then my mom and dad stopped at Chevron to get a drink while Kimber, Ash, Lacy and I hurried home with the boys. Michael was so excited and as soon as the truck stopped he ran over to the car, swung open the door and yelled "Surprise Mamma!!!". It was so cute!

It took my mom a little while to figure out what was going on. She said that she was afraid that she had forgotten the reason why everyone was up at her house and kept trying to rack her brain to remember.

For her Birthday, we gave her and my dad tickets to come to Chicago to visit us!! A Special thank you to Mary for making this possible!!!! She was so excited!!

Jacoby all dressed up for the party!! He is such a big boy! I had saved this outfit for the party and I think it will be the only time he gets to wear it. It was almost too small. Oh well he sure looked cute!

Jacoby and Rylan. When I took Jacoby home for the first time we took pictures of these cute boys that are a week apart in age. Rylan is older than Jacoby. Jacoby looked huge compared to Rylan, well... Rylan has caught up and passed Jacoby and had about 5 lbs. on him!! My baby looked like the tiny one this time!

We had a great time seeing everyone and celebrating the most amazing woman that I know!! Happy Birthday Mom!! We love you!!
