Brian and Risa's Wedding

Jarod and I went to Phoenix last weekend for Brian and Risa's wedding. Brian is Jarod's cousin. The wedding was really nice and it was fun to see the whole family. We miss living close to our California family and had a blast catching up with them along with everyone else. It was a very short trip but we fit a lot in and had a great time! Did I mention that is was 85 degrees! Brian and Risa getting ready to cut their cake. They had their reception at the Scotsdale Botanical Gardens. It was very pretty.

Jar and me posing with the cacti. It's a little dark so you can't see them but I got my dress stuck on one so I can tell you that they were there. I think that is why you are suppose to stay on the trails.

Kelsey and me getting our groove on. I can still hang with the young ones and they even still think I am cool and hip. Boy do I have them fooled :)

Oh how we miss you guys! Hank, with Cole's tie on who is one, and Dee. I think this will be the new look next fall. You never know.

The Jostes clan- minus Connor and I promise Mary is not grabbing me even though it looks like she is.

The Guldner family. It was so great to see them. Gavin and McKenna are getting big. We miss living so close to you guys!

Jarod and Grandma Estelle. She is so funny! I hope I have as much as a sense of humor as she does when I am older. That is Collin sneaking in the picture as well.

My feet were killing me by the end of the night but man my shoes were cute!! Amazing what we do for fashion I tell you!

Cubs Spring Training in AZ

While we were in Phoenix we caught a pre-season Cubs game. I am so excited that baseball season has started. We are HUGE fans when it comes to the Cubs and it also means that summer is right around the corner. I can't wait! We also got to meet up with Brian, Wanda and Brennan Wiscombe when we were there. It was so much fun catching up and meeting the new little guy. He looks just like Brian!

Jarod and me in our Cubbie gear. We were so happy to be in the sun in shorts watching the Cubs play. I don't think it gets much better than that. Ok, maybe with a few peanuts and some good friends.
Wanda and Brennan taking the game in. I don't think Brennan enjoyed it near as much as the rest of us did. It was a little warm for the little guy.
It seemed fitting that these two would take Brennan to his first baseball game after all the years they played ball together. It was great to see you guys!

We are the Champions!

For those of you that do not know, I play on a beach volleyball team called "San Dolla". It is a group of my friends and we play once a week. We started playing last summer on the beach and we were horrible! We could barely get the ball back over the net. Let's just say we have came a long way. Anyway, last week we won our first round of play-offs and on Monday night we had a double hitter. We played the first placed team the first round and beat them in two games. Then we played for the Championship and we walked away with a win! It was very exciting!
I know some of you that played with us last summer will be very suprised so I wanted to let you know that when you come out this summer you better bring your game!

A Trip Home

I went to Boise a few weeks ago to see my family. It was so nice to be home and catch up with everyone. I, of course, took way too many pictures of this little guy so here are a few updated shots of Michael. He is growing up so fast and I swear he had grown four inches since the last time I saw him. He actually has legs now!

So there is a reason for the picture of the rock and no that is not the new baby... every time Michael comes over to my mom and dad's he picks up a rock from outside and brings it into my mom. It is so cute! He is all excited to show her the rock that he picked out just for her. My mom has quite a collection of rocks to say the least.

Photo shoot with Lacy

In our hallway, my mom has all of our senior pictures on the wall. Yes, I have been frozen in time forever on my mom's wall. Anyway, there is a picture of Lacy from when she was like 8 years old since she hasn't graduated yet and Michael laughs every time we tell him it is Lacy. He does not believe us! So I took Lacy out and snapped a few pictures of her
