I am finally in a house which means I get to start canning and have the food storage I have always wanted. One of the first things on my list that I wanted to can was grape juice. It is my favorite from growing up! I was so excited that grapes were in season when we got here since I missed everything else.

One Saturday in September, we drove to a farm only 30 minutes away and had a blast picking grapes. My mom was
flyin in later that day and she was bringing her juicer with her.

We picked an entire bushel of grapes as we dodged bees.
Jacoby loved it and as such a good help.

I am pretty sure he ate more then he picked though. They were so good and I am happy to report that the grape juice is even better. Next year I am going to have to do at least to bushels because we are drinking it so fast it will never last until next year!
