At 12:30 am on March 22, when I was home Lacy's water broke. To say I was excited to be there for this big day was an understatement. As soon as she got to the hospital and texted that it was go time I was up all night so excited for her! Then we started making plans that I would go in and take pictures and I got even more excited but as the day progressed poor Lace wasn't. I had to leave for the airport at 3:30 and at 3 I was at the hospital and the checked her and she was still only a four. I was so bummed. It was probably the hardest it has ever been on me to leave Boise this trip. My little sister was going to be a Mommy and I missed it by a few hours! After 23 hours of labor, Blake William Patterson came into the world. Blake, I can't wait to meet you and hold you and tell you how wonderful your Mama is and how strong she was delivering you. I am so proud of my baby sister and can't wait to meet my newest nephew! Blake and Jace are exactly almost to the hour ten weeks apart! Now Ash is up next!!!

It is so hard to believe that you missed it by just a few hours. I can't wait for you to get to come back. YOu are my bookends and I am so proud of both of you.
