9 Months Old

As you can see, we are on the move!!  It was so hard to get any pictures of him holding still but so fun to see how much he has changed in one month.  Jace, you are the most beautiful baby inside and out and we love you so much!  You make all of us happy just being around you because you are the happiest baby I have ever known.  You are pure joy and it radiates from every fiber of your body.  We love you  Jacers and we are so glad that you are in our family.  Here is what you are up to at 9 months.
1.  You started crawling 5 days before you turned 9 months and you are every where.  You have been working on it for a while and as soon as you got the hang of moving everything together and not just getting up on all fours and crashing down to move, you were gone.  There is no looking back.
2.  You would much rather walk every where than crawl though.  You never want me to sit you down.  You lock your legs so I can't because you want to walk every where.
3.  You pull your self up on every thing and then cruise around the furniture.  I don't think it will be much longer before you are walking.
4.  You think you can stand and let go of things and fall down.  This is such a hard age watching you figure things out and knowing there is going to be some falls.
5.  You love to nurse and still do a lot.  You sign for milky and get super excited when you get it.  You start squealing and kicking your legs and saying Mmmmum, which is what you call me right now. 
6.  The other day we were in the car and Jacoby sneezed so you decided you would try too and now you say achoo and think it is so funny.  It is adorable and you will do it on command.
7.  I was making dinner the other night and had you on my hip while I was stirring the pot and every time I stirred the pot you would say hot and then smile the biggest grin at me. 
8.  You are amazing with your fingers and do the index finger and thumb grasp.
9.  You weighed in at 18 lb.  11 oz. (30%) at 9 months and were 27 1/2 inches long . 
10.  You copy ever noise we make with our mouth.  You love to blow bubbles and snap your tongue.  You are constantly making noise.
11.  When you play with cars with Jacoby you make the vroom sound just like him.
12.  You like to growl.  It is hilarious!  You are just really enjoying all the noises you can do and are becoming more and more vocal every day.
13.  You sign milky and all done and I think you try to say all done, or at least copy the cadence of it. 
14.  You sleep really well for the most part.  Two naps, one is always really long and the other is short.  It depends on the day but usually you take your longer nap during the afternoon.
15.  You love to be outside.  Still love the sand box
16.  Your favorite toys are cars, balls, yo-yo's ( you like the strings) and opening and closing any door or drawer you can get your hands on.
17.  You don't like baby food but you love feeding yourself.  Your favorites are avocado, pizza, puffs, bananas and cottage cheese.
18.  You said Daddy for the first time on Daddy's Birthday.  The day after you turned 9 months.  It made his day!
19.  We have been struggling with eczema on your face.  I am trying to figure out what is causing it.  Thinking your massive amounts of saliva from your two teeth you have?  Or maybe a sensitivity to wheat?  Not sure yet.
