Dinosaur Week

It was a big week at our house.  We have been talking about it for a few weeks now.  It was dinosaur week because it was D week at our house.  Jacoby was so excited!
We had a busy week of making dinosaurs, reading dinosaur books, watching Dino Dan  and making dinosaur eggs and then pretending we were Paleontologist and finding them in the yard with the help of all of our dinosuar books.
We had so much fun but the highlight was going to the dinosaur park here in Cincinnati to dig for real fossils.  It was so cool!  This park is 10 acres of land that used to be the sea.  We were the only ones there most of the time until a college class showed up.  You get to bring your own equipment and dig for fossils.  Most of them are shell creatures but they date back to the dinosaur times and Jacoby didn't care he just thought it was cool.  Jace tried to eat fossils all day long so I was busy between digging in the ground and in Jace's mouth, crazy boy!
When Jarod got home Jacoby was so animated telling him all about it and how much fun it was.  Jarod looked at me and said if he ever goes to real school he is going to be so bored.  We are just having too much fun and it is my quest to find fun things.
