Snow Angels

We got snow and lots of it!  Jacoby woke up and you would have thought it was Christmas he was so excited!!  We got all bundled up and headed out the door.  Jacoby has been wanting to play with the bubble machine but it makes such a mess inside so I pulled that out too.  I thought the bubbles might freeze but it wasn't cold enough but they still had fun.

I put boos on Jace and put him down and he seriously stayed like this for a good 15 minutes.  He wasn't sure if he could move or walk with these boots on so he stood there with his legs bent and waited for me to pick him up.  I could not stop laughing. 

Jacoby was doing snow angels every where and I love this picture of him. 

Jace was much happier when I was holding him and even more happy when I took off those boots!

Bathing Cuties!

Of course I had to pull out the new camera for some tub shots.  I got Jace being Jace.  Standing up in the bath tub and every time I tell him no he laughs and still stands there waiting to see what I am going to do. 
 I love the picture of them playing so nice together for a few seconds before it turns in to Jacoby asking me if Jace can get out so he can have warmer water and more of it and Jace standing up laughing at me. 

My Birthday

My 34th Birthday was a good one this year, and with the birthday here it gave me some time to reflect where I am in my life and where I want to go.  This last year has been an incredible one for me.  I have never felt more comfortable in my own skin.  I have never felt more confident in my decisions.  I think a lot of that comes with age but also with me trying to shut the world out in the last year and do what I know I need to do or what the spirit is prompting me to do.  I pray constantly for help with my children.  I pray that I am doing the things that I need to do.  I pray that I am teaching them the things I need to teach them and that I take every opportunity I can to show them how much they mean to me.  This last year I have tried to be more present and do what is best for my children and not fall in to the trap of what everyone else says I should do for them and it has been awesome!  I feel so less stressed then ever before and more comfortable even confident in my decisions to go against the grain in my parenting style.  This has allowed me to be truer to myself and my family and this is where I have found my freedom. 
34 finds me very happy and satisfied with my life.  I feel so blessed and some times I am just waiting for every thing to crumble.  I know that sounds horrible so I have decided that every one has their own trials but during this time I am just going to enjoy this season because I don't know what lies ahead.  I do know that I have a wonderful husband, children, family and testimony that I feel so lucky to have and for that I am very blessed. 

My 34th Birthday

For my 34 Birthday, I decided that I wanted to go out for sushi with the boys!  We asked Jacoby if he wanted to go on a date with us and he was so excited.  He told us that he needed to get dressed up to go on a date.  He needed to take a shower and put gel in his hair.  He looked darling and I loved that he was so excited!  They were great and not only does Jacoby love sushi but so does Jace!  He was hilarious!  He was eating with chopsticks and thought he was such a big boy.  We ordered a sweet potato roll that amazing and he loved it! 

Then we came home to the cake that Jacoby had made for me.  This is his favorite thing to do for birthdays.  It was a butter cake.  Never knew there was such a thing and I wouldn't really recommend it but him and Daddy had fun making it. 

Jacoby was also insistent that I needed red roses for my birthday and they went and bought me pink goggles for when we go swimming.  He wanted me to be able to swim under water with him and use my night vision.

Jarod surprised me with a new Canon 7D!  I was so excited!!!  Now if I can just figure out how to work it!

But the best present of all came from my Jacers, who started walking on my birthday!  It was adorable and something I will always remember. 
I love my family and I know that I am very blessed and I thank my Heavenly Father every day for my husband and beautiful children.

Family pictures part 2

They are just too cute for words!  I could not believe she was able to get Jacoby smiling his ral smiling and she also captured so many Jacoby faces, I love them! 
Jace was not that into it.  He was tired and was ready for a nap but we still got some cute ones and found out that this kid loves chocolate!

I was so excited to have our pictures taken again by Fabiana.  It was freezing and the kids were troopers but it got to the point that we were frozen solid so we headed in doors to get some more.  Luckily in the few minutes we were outside we got some really good ones!
