Hello World...

We are expecting and couldn't be more excited! I am just over 16 weeks pregnant and due on December 5. So exciting!
Everything is going along really well. I felt great until I hit 9 weeks. 9 to 15 weeks were tough but I am feeling much better now. I went to my doctor the day before I turned 9 weeks and told him that I hadn't had any morning sickness. He told me that since I hadn't gotten it yet he was sure I wouldn't get it now. Ya right! The next day it come on and lasted for a few weeks. Thanks Doc! But everything looks great so it is all worth it. Well at least that is what I keep telling myself.
It has been so much fun telling everyone and seeing everyone's response. We told my family first when we went home for Derek's wedding. My family is very excited! We gave my mom a picture frame with the ultrasound picture in it for Mother's Day. I was filming and she opened it, looked at me and said "is this your baby?". I lost it and started bawling so the camera was nice and shaky. My sisters had a bet that I was pregnant. Ash said she could tell. So in the background of the video you can here them saying "I knew it!!." My dad, brothers and sister in laws were also excited. Michael was nervous because he didn't know why we were all crying.
We went to Denver next to tell Jarod's family. They were surprised. I don't think that they were expecting that.
Then we told Elish and Rob over the phone. I knew Elish knew something was up because I was dodging her phone calls so they were not that surprised but very excited! We also called and told Jeff that he was going to be an uncle for the fourth time (his sister has three kids). He couldn't believe that his sister called us instead of him and then he put it together. It was hilarious!!
I went back to Boise a few weeks later for Boden's birth and told the rest of the family. I love to see everyone's reactions. My grandma was the most excited. She has been bothering me to have a baby for years.
We then started calling the rest of Jarod's family or telling them when we saw them. Jarod's aunt Dee who I am very close with was a highlight. Jarod called her to tell her and she started crying because she was so excited! She got it under control and they talked for a while and then I got on the phone and she started again. The best part about it was she was on her way to work in LA and said that everyone was staring at her as she was driving and crying and had to reapply her makeup.
It has been so much fun telling everyone and we saved the big post for last!

CONGRATULATIONS!! Everyone I know is preggers right now so you just fit right in the club!!!! That is so exciting! As for the morning sickness I found cinnamon gum and lemon drops (not together of course) helped me get thru mine!!! YAY!! You are good about keeping secrets! I had to tell the minute I found out....I am not one who can wait for the first ultrasound.
Congrats again! You are in for some exciting times!

Well since your sisters said they thought you were pregnant I am going to go ahead and admit I thought you were too. At Derek's wedding I noticed your skinny little body looked a bit different, and I didn't believe you or Jared when you both insisted you weren't. But anywho, I am completely thrilled for you! Just keep reminding yourself it is all worth it, because as soon as you see your baby's sweet face, every time you hugged that toilet, couldn't fit into anything, cried and just felt miserable doesn't even matter, because it is all worth it. You are going to LOVE being a mommy!
