On Saturday, December 4 we took Jacoby to the Chicago Children's museum for the first time. We decided that for his Birthday present from us we would buy a family membership for the next year.
He loved the fire station. I thought he looked so cute dressed up in all his gear.
He thought it was so fun to drive and make it make noise. This picture makes me laugh.
Then we went digging for fossils.
and then Daddy showed him a few things about plumbing under the house. This was after we played at the grocery store (or Whole Foods as Jacoby calls it). His favorite room of all was the water room. He was in heaven playing with water, buckets and boats. I mean who wouldn't be.
When we got home, the boys went to get the mail again and Jacoby had another gift this time from Grandma GG. He thought for a few days after his Birthday that everyday he would get a present and was a little bummed when he didn't.
Grandma GG had knitted him this adorable giraffie. He just kept kissing it. He loves it! Thanks Grandma GG!We ended the Birthday festivities by going out for Jacoby's favorite food- pizza! We had the best time celebrating with our sweet little boy. I can't believe that he is 2! Jacoby still celebrated for a few weeks after his Birthday by singing Happy Birthday to himself in his new microphone.

Looks like he had a blast. I love the firetruck picture. He sees those so often it looks like he was enjoying pretending he was on one!
