Omaha Birthday Party

While we were in Omaha for Thanksgiving, we celebrated this sweet little boy's second Birthday! I will say it's nice that his Birthday is so close to Thanksgiving because the last two years we have celebrated with family. Which in my opinion is the only way to do it!

On Saturday Grandma and Grandpa J took us to the Omaha zoo. It is an amazing zoo and I enjoy it every time but one of these days I need to go when it's actually warm outside. I always go in the winter.

Jacoby had so much fun playing with some of his favorite people.

He gets Uncle Connor and Uncle Collin's named mixed up- pretty much everyone does- so this trip he stuck to calling them both Uncle Collin.

Jacoby is a tad obsessed with Giraffe's. He loves them! He calls them giraffies and he has quite a collection. He is always so mesmerized by them.

He could have stayed there all day watching them. He thinks their tongues are funny.

We had a great day at the zoo. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa J. Then we headed out to lunch and then back to Betty's house for a nap.

Later that night, we had a family Birthday party for him at Kara and Kyle's house. It was so nice that everyone came over for the festivities for our baby boy. It really meant a lot to us to have everyone there.

Jacoby, Trey and Dylan. These cute boys are so close in age and it is so much fun to watch them play together.

Here is some of the Jostes'

Kyle, Jarod, Bridgette, Krista, Rita, Betty and Michelle

We even had live entertainment- Cleo, Trey, John, Luke, Mia and Neil sang lots of songs for us and we even had a parade.

Then it was time for dessert.

My sweet 2 year old!

He even blew out his own candles this year. He is getting too big!

He was so proud of himself and he loved being the center of attention. All the kids were surrounding him singing Happy Birthday and Jacoby thought it was so funny.

For the record I did not cry this year!

Then it was off to open presents and once again we were surrounded and Jacoby was loving life. He loved all of his presents.

But shockingly his favorite present was a microphone. I think I may have an entertainer on my hands. He sang for everyone and loved it when they all clapped. Too funny!
It was a great family Birthday party for our little boy and the festivities were just beginning!
